Admission Rules & Regulations (K–12)

At Genius Educational Academy, we ensure that the admission process is transparent, fair, and aligned with CBSE regulations. Our aim is to welcome students who are ready to engage in holistic learning and uphold the values of discipline, excellence, and respect that define our school community.
📝 General Admission Guidelines:
1. Admissions are open for Grades Nursery to 12 (Science & Commerce Streams in Senior Secondary).
2. Age eligibility must strictly meet CBSE norms (age calculated as on 31st March of the academic year).
3. Admission is subject to:
• Submission of a duly filled admission form.
• Submission of valid documents (see below).
• Availability of seats and fulfilment of age and academic criteria.
4. For Grades 2 and above, Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school (affiliated with CBSE/recognized board) is mandatory.
5. Students from non-CBSE boards may be required to submit an Equivalence Certificate if necessary.
6. In certain grades, admission interaction/assessment may be conducted to determine academic readiness.
📎 Mandatory Documents for Admission:
• Birth Certificate (original + copy)
• Transfer Certificate (TC) – for Grade 2 and above
• Previous year’s Report Card / Marksheet
• Aadhaar Card (for Indian students)
• Passport-size photographs (student & parents)
• Address Proof
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
🚫 Admission Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy
🔄 Admission Cancellation (Before Session Begins):
• Requests must be submitted in writing to the school office.
• If admission is cancelled before the academic session begins, refund of fee will be processed as per school’s refund policy, after deduction of registration/administrative charges.
📤 Student Withdrawal (After Admission):
• A written application must be submitted at least one month in advance.
• Transfer Certificate (TC) will be issued only after:
o All dues are cleared, and
o No pending library/lab items or school property is held.
• No refund of tuition fees for the months already attended or part thereof.
📌 Mid-Year Withdrawal:
• Fees for the full term may be applicable.
• For students withdrawing in Term 2, annual charges are non-refundable.
⚠️ Important Notes:
• Admission granted may be revoked if any document is found forged or misleading.
• Re-admission after withdrawal is subject to fresh seat availability and approval by the Principal.
• The school reserves the right to review and update policies in line with CBSE/education department notifications.
